One of our most popular membership benefits is our new web site, www.tate-county.com . Your TCEDF membership offers your business both alphabetical and categorical listings on our site. A link to your web site is available at no additional charge. Let us make it easy for prospective customers to find out about your business through inclusion on our site! This valuable perk is ONLY available to Foundation members.

Small Business Workshops and Seminars

We sponsor Small Business Workshops and seminars on a regular basis. Timely topics of interest ( such as Visual Marketing, Taxes for Small Business, Minority Business Affairs, Shoplifting Prevention, etc .) are addressed. This fills a need for specialized training that would be costly for individual firms to do alone. A fee is charged to non-members. This is a free benefit for Foundation members!

Promotion of Foundation Members

Through our "Welcome Center", we offer you the availability of space in our office to display promotional materials about YOUR business. When appropriate, the materials are included in packets to newcomers. Also, we promote our business members at various other activities throughout the year. Only Foundation members are given this promotion!

Newcomer Packets
We provide newcomer packets for people who are considering locating in Tate County. A part of that packet is our list of TCEDF member businesses, as a way to introduce potential new customers to our member businesses.

Foundation Meeting Rooms
Our Foundation meeting rooms are available to you at no cost . This is a free service for Foundation members only!

Small Business Counseling
Through appropriate resources, we provide small business counseling designed to help solve specific, individual business problems for any member. We can assist you with vital business-related information. Our existing Business and Industry Program offers counseling and assistance to help your business grow and prosper. We are here to help YOU!

Main Street Program
Through our Main Street Program , we provide leadership and assistance for business development, downtown and community development projects throughout Tate County. We encourage people to do business here at home and keep the dollars in Tate County.

Statistical and Community Data
We provide information to you, as requested, on community demographics, the Cost of Living Index, general community data, tourist information and other data important to your business or leisure life.

Newsletters and Community Events
We will keep you up to date on Foundation business and activities through our Newsletter. We're developing a new electronic newsletter as a way to keep in touch with our members. This will enable our members to know about Foundation activities, issues, and projects in a very timely manner. Our plan is to have this ready by the end of the year. For this, we do need your email address! We coordinate community events such as Mayfair, the Senatobia Christmas Parade, the Coldwater Christmas Parade and Christmas Open House.

Northwest Mississippi Regional Alliance
As a part of the Memphis Regional Council and the Northwest Mississippi Regional Alliance, we work with other development agencies on regional projects that will have an impact on our area.
